I describe my visual art practice as neo-conceptualist, new genre work since I explore areas of meaning production in a variety of media. Recently, I have been experimenting with cinematic formats to create visual discourse within other media. Art writings and artist interviews are published in artUS magazine (Los Angeles) and various artist websites online. Interview with Laura Daroca

Laura Daroca's digital video work, "Remains: A Preliminary Investigation" was screened at CINtax Film Forum (UC Riverside), Images Festival (Toronto), the Brooklyn Arts Councils 39th International Film and Video Festival (Brooklyn Museum) and The Antimatter Underground Film Festival (Victoria BC). In March 2006, the video will be included in "Otis over Time" in the Barnsdall Theatre, at the Los Angeles Municipal Gallery. Laura currently resides in Santa Monica, CA.
