"The Betty Asher Project" features new collaborative works from Smith and Corsano. Album covers and art posters are layered over with abstract motifs and ad signage to remix messages.
In collaboration, Corsano and Smith activate live discourses in the work they exchange and develop. The resulting artworks question simple interpretations traditionally based on the authority of the individual artist and invite pluralistic reads of the works activated by changing audiences and contexts.
